Sustainability Strategy

Sustainability is actively ensuring that the ways we choose to live today, do not reduce the quality of life of future generations – socially, economically or environmentally. 

Singleton Council is committed to strengthening its own corporate sustainability performance, growing community awareness and participation, and fostering sustainable development within the Singleton local government area.

Singleton Sustainability Strategy

Developed in consultation with the Singleton Sustainability Advisory Committee, the 2019-2027 Singleton Sustainability Strategy sets out a broad sustainability agenda for the Singleton local government area (LGA).

Sustainability Advisory Committee

Singleton Council established the Community Sustainability Advisory Committee to act as a reference group for the development of the 2019/2027 Sustainability Strategy and to guide the long-term sustainability of Singleton in partnership with community stakeholders.

Sustainability Advantage

Sustainability Advantage is a program facilitated by NSW Department of Planning, Industry and Environment that provides assistance to medium to large organisations in achieving a range of corporates and community sustainability outcomes.
