Community Compass: Navigating Resilience Together
What is this workshop?
Facilitated by the innovative team at Boho Interactive, this workshop is designed to not only broaden your perspective but also equip you with practical tools for disaster resilience assessment.
You will be engaged in a dynamic, scenario-based exercise that simulates multiple shocks to your business and the broader Singleton LGA. This hands-on experience will challenge you to think on your feet and strategise under pressure.
What will I gain by attending?
This is a unique opportunity to leverage the collective knowledge and expertise of the CRN to incorporate specialist insight into your resilience planning. By participating, you'll gain the ability to see your organisation (within the Singleton LGA) as a vital part of a larger system, uncovering both its strengths and areas of vulnerability.
You will also walk away with a visual representation of your organisation's position within the Singleton LGA ecosystem. This map will be a valuable tool for identifying resilience, fragility, and for strategic planning.
Who should attend?
We warmly welcome organisations not currently members of the CRN to join us. Whether you're part of community service organisations, business networks, government agencies, local NGOs, schools, or other groups keen to contribute to the Singleton LGA's resilience, this workshop is for you!
It is particularly valuable for those who bring specialist knowledge about the needs and characteristics of vulnerable groups within our community.
