Council is responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of all water and sewer services located within Singleton's water supply and sewer network. As a property owner you are responsible for the maintenance and repair of all water and sewer pipes within your property.
If you are building a new development and need to connect to our water and sewer services, you will need to apply for a water or sewer connection and pay the appropriate fees and charges.
Council is responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of all metered and unmetered water services connected to Singletons Water Supply Network.
New Sewer Connections are subject to entitlement and approval. It is mandatory to connect to Council provided sewerage infrastructure if your property falls within the defined boundary of the service supply area.
Prior to any excavation, Council advises undertaking a Dial Before You Dig (DBYD) search or contacting out Customer Service Centre to find out if and where any water supply and/or sewer infrastructure is located.
