School-aged Programs

All School-aged Programs are run during the school term. There are two program structures, our Term-long Programs run as a course over the term and our Drop-In Programs that can be attended on a week-to-week basis.
 
Term-long | Term 2 - 2025

Book in for our Term-long School-aged Programs at Singleton Library. This is your opportunity to deep-dive into a project and build on skills each consecutive session. You will receive an email by the next business day letting you know you have made it into the class. If the program is fully booked you will be placed on the waiting list. 

Sewing Workshops
1st + 3rd Tuesday of the month | 3.30 - 4.30pm
Learn the basics of sewing by becoming familiar with using a sewing machine and other hand-sewing techniques. Over the term work towards creating a sewing project using the skills learned along the way. This program is great for people who would like to learn a bit more about sewing, enjoy making things or make new friends!

3D Printing Workshop

2nd Tuesday of the month | 3.30 - 4.30pm
Learn how to create your own 3D printed designs using programs like Tinker CAD. Over the term, you will work towards a project using the skills and techniques learned along the way. This program is great for people who want to learn about making 3D objects, using CAD drawing programs, and bringing digital designs to life!

Drop-in

Code Club
Mondays | 3.30 - 4.30pm
Learn basic coding to create animations and games.

Chess Club
1st + 3rd Wednesday of the month | 3.30 - 4.30pm
Come along and learn the basics of chess and play a fun game with other participants. All school ages welcome.

No bookings required.

Lego Club
 2nd + 4th Wednesday of the month | 3.30 - 4.30pm
Everything is awesome at Library Lego Club.

No bookings required.

STEM Challenge Fridays 
 1st + 3rd Friday of the month | 3.30 - 4.30pm
Afternoon full of STEM fun, during school term. 

 

School Holidays Program

A range of special activities are run during the school holidays. The school holiday program becomes available approximately three weeks prior to the start of the holidays. The Singleton Youth Venue also runs a program for 11-17 year olds, and Singleton OOSH has a program of vacation care activities.

Current program

Bookings can be made via Eventbrite or by visiting or calling the Library for paid programs, once the program has been released.
