Home Library Service
Singleton Public Library operates a home library service for those members who are temporarily or permanently housebound. The home library service is a free service to connect housebound Singleton residents with Library resources. This service is available to members of the Singleton community who have no alternative way to access the Library.
Home Library Service members may be:
- Unable to visit the library due to poor health or immobility
- Living with a disability
- Carers
- Frail and aged
- Resident of a care facility
- A new parent
Items are selected to meet members interests and are delivered on the last Thursday of the month by community volunteers. Members of our Home Library Service can choose to from the library collection including;
- Books (including large print)
- Audio books
- DVDs
- CDs
- Magazines
