Interflow have been contracted by Singleton Council to carry out rehabilitation works to six DN1200 culverts along Charlton Road in Broke between Fordwich Road and Cobcroft Road.

About the work

Interflow will be carrying out rehabilitation works to six DN1200 culverts via trenchlessly relining the pipes.

The liner comprises a continuous strip of PVC that is progressively wound into the existing pipelines. The edges of the PVC strip are interlocked by a winding machine as it rotates and moves along inside the pipe. This results in a structural PVC liner that fits tightly inside the existing pipe.

How this will affect traffic

Expect delays to traffic along Charlton Road between Fordwich Road and Cobcroft Road for the duration of the works.

There will be a lane closure with traffic lights in place to direct traffic safely around the work site and the speed will be temporarily reduced to 40km/h.

Charlton Road will remain open to through traffic for the work, however short duration closures (up to 15 minutes) may be required.
