Singleton Library celebrates 20 years in our current building on September 24. The Singleton Speaker Series is a yearlong celebration featuring renowned authors and speakers who will enlighten and entertain as we celebrate two decades of knowledge, community, and the joy of reading.
Introduction to Chakras

Kristy is a natural health advocate and holistic remedial therapist, focusing on people's individual healing journey to bring mind, body and spirit into alignment.

Spirit of Place with Uncle Warren Taggart

Singleton Citizen of the Year in 2022, Uncle Warren Tagart is a Wonnarua elder and is passionate about sharing his culture.
Uncle Warren works tirelessly to both preserve and share the rich history and culture of the Wonnarua people, including regular tours of Baiame Cave.
In 2021, Warren, Carol Carter and Allan Chawner published Spirit of Place: Aboriginal Sites of the Hunter Region.
The book features photographs of cave shelters, rock engravings and landmarks of significant cultural importance.
Join us as during NAIDOC Week as Uncle Warren shares stories about the images featured in Spirit of Place and their significance.

A single mother of three, Sarah is also an avid exerciser and firmly believes in the benefits of a healthy lifestyle.

Lachlan Storrie (of Tree Frog Permaculture) is an enthusiastic character set out to spread his knowledge about Permaculture and Sustainability. Lachlan’s background is in Biology and Ecology, having accomplished a degree in Biology at Newcastle University and two years experience doing postgraduate research in the area of Amphibian Conservation Biology.
