Do you know a learner driver looking for more experience driving safely on country roads and improve their night driving skills in a safe, educational setting? Sign up now for the Hunter Learner Night Drive!

Supported by Transport for NSW and Bengalla Mining Company, this community event is proudly brought to you by Hunter Valley Highway Patrol, Hunter Valley Police District, and the Upper Hunter Shire, Muswellbrook Shire, and Singleton Councils.

Time: 5.30 – 9.30pm
Venue: Scone Memorial Airport

Highlights:

  • Drive on the track at night
  • Practice breath tests
  • Reverse parallel parking and vehicle manoeuvring
  • Mock vehicle rescue by local rescue organisations
  • Sausage sizzle included; other refreshments available for purchase

Who can join? Learner drivers of any age but must be accompanied by a supervisor (aged 25+). Bring your Learner’s Licence and your supervisor’s Unrestricted Civil Road Licence.

This event promotes interaction between learner drivers and police, offering a safe learning environment for driving on country roads.

Tickets are $10 per participant, which will be returned on completion of the course.
