Innovation will be at the heart of Reimagine Regional Business talks in Singleton next week, as renowned influencer Brittney Saunders and a panel of Hunter success stories share their tips for staying ahead of the curve in business.

Newcastle entrepreneur Ms Saunders has launched six self-funded brands, including FAYT The Label, and is known for her impactful presence on social media and other digital platforms.

She said she was looking forward to being in Singleton to share her insights and meet with local businesspeople as the keynote speaker at the free Reimagine Regional Business event, funded by the NSW Government’s Resources for Regions and delivered in partnership by Singleton Council and Business Singleton, at Singleton Civic Centre on Wednesday 28 August from 9.30am – 12.30pm.

The event is the first of a number of innovation-themed events in Singleton over October and November, including Council’s own three-part Innovation Workshop Series and the Hunter Innovation Festival Roadshow.

“There are endless opportunities for all of us to be innovative in our businesses, and I’m excited to be part of the Reimagine Regional Business event to share my own experience as an entrepreneur and what I’ve learned along the way,” Ms Saunders said.

“Anyone who runs a business knows that it isn’t static. There’s always room for new ideas, to shake things up, or to consider introducing something new.

“This event is a great way to be inspired, look at your business from a new angle, and stay ahead of the curve.”

Event attendees will also be treated to a panel discussion on why there’s never been a better time to learn how innovation and digital technology can transform your business.

The panellists include:

  • Kate Lyall, Founder and Chief Technology Officer of Bee Innovative
  • Jo Hardie, Managing Director of Spewy
  • Jeremy Brett, General Manager of Morgan Engineering
  • Panel facilitator – Claire Quigley, Founder and Director from LaunchPad 9

Morning tea will be provided by Singleton High School hospitality students.

Business Singleton, The Business Centre and Services NSW, Hunter iF and The Melt will be set up on the day to provide an overview of the services they can offer event attendees.
