Christmas/New Year Operational Hours 2022/23

Details of the operating hours of Council Services over the 2022/23 Christmas and New Year period are shown below:

Singleton Administration Centre

  • The Administration Centre will close from midday on Friday, 16 December 2022 and will reopen for normal operating hours on Monday, 19 December 2022.
  • The Administration Centre will be closed from noon on Friday, 23 December 2022. 
  • Regular operating hours will resume on Tuesday, 3 January 2023, with after-hours phone diversion in place during this period.

Singleton Visitor Information Centre

  • The Singleton Visitor Information Centre will close from midday on Friday, 16 December 2022 and will reopen for normal operating hours on Saturday, 17 December 2022.
  • The Centre will close from noon on Friday, 23 December 2022 and will reopen on Saturday, 24 December 2022 from 10am - 3pm.
  • The Centre will be closed on Sunday, 25 December and Monday, 26 December and will reopen on Tuesday, 27 December 2022. Modified opening times of 10am - 3pm will be in place from Tuesday, 27 December 2022 until Monday, 2 January 2023.
  • The Centre will resume normal operating hours from Tuesday, 3 January 2023. 

Singleton Arts and Cultural Centre

  • The Singleton Arts and Cultural Centre will close from noon on Friday, 23 December 2022

  • The Singleton Arts and Cultural Centre will close from noon on Friday, 23 December 2022 and will reopen on Saturday, 24 December 2022 from 10am - 3pm. The Centre will be closed on Sunday, 25 December and Monday, 26 December and will reopen on Tuesday, 27 December 2022. Modified opening times of 10am - 3pm will be in place from Tuesday, 27 December 2022 until Monday, 2 January 2023. The Centre will resume normal operating hours from Tuesday, 3 January 2023.

Singleton Public Library

  • The Library will be closed from midday on Friday, 16 December 2022 and will reopen at 9am on Saturday, 17 December, 2022.
  • The Library will also close from midday on Friday, 23 December, 2022 and will reopen at 9am on Tuesday, 3 January 2023.

Singleton Youth Venue

  • The Youth Venue will be closed from midday Friday, 16 December 2022 and will reopen on Tuesday, 20 December 2022.
  • The Youth Venue will also close from midday on Friday, 23 December 2022 and will reopen at 9am on Tuesday, 3 January 2023.

Colleen Gale Children’s Services

  • Colleen Gale Children’s Centre will close from midday on Friday, 16 December and will reopen from 6.30am on Monday, 19 December 2022.
  • Colleen Gale Children’s Centre will also close from midday on Friday, 23 December 2022 and will reopen with normal operating hours at 6.30am on Tuesday, 3 January 2023.

Singleton Heights Sports Centre

  • The Singleton Heights Sports Centre will be closed from Saturday, 24 December 2022 and will reopen on Tuesday, 3 January 2023.

Singleton Gym + Swim

  • The Singleton Gym + Swim will be operating normal hours on Saturday, 24 December 2022 from 6am - 6pm and will be closed on Sunday, 25 December 2022.
  • The Centre will open on Monday, 26 and Tuesday, 27 December 2022 from 10am - 6pm.
  • The Centre will be operating normal hours from Wednesday, 28 to Saturday, 31 December 2022 and will be open on Sunday, 1 and Monday, 2 January 2023 from 10am - 6pm.
  • The Gym and Swim will resume normal operating hours from Tuesday, 3 January 2023.

Singleton Out of School Hours Care (OOSH)

  • Singleton Out of School Hours Care (OOSH) will close to families at midday on Friday, 16 December 2022 and reopen on Monday, 19 December 2022.
  • The Centre will also close at midday on Friday, 23 December 2022 and will reopen with a Vacation Care program from 6am on Tuesday, 3 January 2023.

Singleton Animal Management Facility

  • There are no Ranger Services from midday on Friday 23 December 2022 to Monday 2 January 2023. No Ranger Services means the Animal Management Facility (AMF) is closed and companion animals (dogs and cats) cannot be impounded. The AMF will be cleaned and animals fed and exercised on a daily basis. Ranger Services as normal from Tuesday 3 January 2023.

 Singleton Waste Management Facility

  • The Waste Management Facility will be operating normal opening hours except for Sunday, 25 December 2022 when the Facility will be closed.
  • The Facility will be operating from 9am - 4pm on Monday, 26 December 2022 and Tuesday, 27 December 2022 and also from Saturday, 31 December 2022 to Monday, 2 January 2023.
  • The Facility will resume normal trading hours on Tuesday, 3 January 2023.
  • There will be no kerbside services on Christmas Day with scheduled services continuing on Monday, 26 December 2022.

Duty Planning Enquiries

  • Duty Planning Enquiries will not be available from midday on Friday, 16 December 2022 to 8.30am Monday, 9 January 2023.
  • Pre DA Meetings will not be available from Monday, 19 December 2022 to Monday, 30 January 2023.
