Christmas + New Year Operational Hours 2023/24

Singleton Administration Centre

The Administration Centre will close from midday on Thursday 14 December 2023 and will reopen for normal operating hours on Friday 15 December 2023. An after-hours phone diversion will be in place during this period.
The Administration Centre will close from midday on Friday 22 December 2023 and will reopen for normal operating hours on Tuesday 2 January 2024. An after-hours phone diversion will be in place during this period.

Singleton Visitor Information Centre

The Visitor Information Centre will close from midday on Thursday 14 December 2023 and will reopen for normal operating hours on Friday 15 December 2023.
The Singleton Visitor Information Centre will close from midday on Friday 22 December 2023.
The Centre will operate with modified operating hours from 10am-3pm on Saturday 23 December 2023 and Sunday 24 December 2023.
The Centre will be closed Monday 25 December 2023 and Tuesday 26 December 2023.
The Centre will be open 10am-3pm from Wednesday 27 December 2023 to Sunday 31 December 2023, and on Monday 1 January 2024.
The Centre will reopen for normal operating hours on Tuesday 2 January 2024.

Singleton Arts and Cultural Centre

The Singleton Arts and Cultural Centre will close from midday on Thursday 14 December 2023 and will reopen for normal operating hours on Friday 15 December 2023.
The Singleton Arts and Cultural Centre will close from midday on Friday 22 December 2023.
The Centre will operate with modified operating hours from 10am-3pm on Saturday 23 December 2023 and Sunday 24 December 2023.
The Centre will be closed Monday 25 December 2023 and Tuesday 26 December 2023.
The Centre will be open 10am-3pm from Wednesday 27 December 2023 to Sunday 31 December 2023, and on Monday 1 January 2024.
The Centre will reopen for normal operating hours on Tuesday 2 January 2024.

Singleton Public Library

The Library will close from midday on Thursday 14 December 2023 and will reopen for normal operating hours on Friday 15 December 2023.
The Library will be closed from midday on Friday 22 December 2023 and will reopen for normal operating hours at 9am on Tuesday 2 January 2024.

Singleton Youth Venue

The Youth Venue will close from midday on Thursday 14 December 2023 and will reopen for normal operating hours on Friday 15 December 2023.
The Youth Venue will be closed from midday on Friday 22 December 2023 and will reopen for normal operating hours at 9am on Tuesday 2 January 2024.

Colleen Gale Children’s Services

The Colleen Gale Children’s Centre will close from 6pm Thursday 21 December 2023 and will reopen with normal operating hours at 6.30am on Monday 8 January 2024.

Singleton Out of School Hours Care (OOSH)

Out of School Hours Care (OOSH) will close to families at 6.30pm on Thursday 21 December 2023 and will reopen with the Vacation Care program from 6am on Monday 8 January 2024.

Duty Planning Enquiries

Duty Planning services will cease from midday on Friday 15 December 2023 and will begin again from Monday 8 January 2024.

Building Inspections

The last day of inspections by Council’s building certifiers will be Friday 22 December 2023. All inspections for this day must be booked by 3.30pm on Thursday 21 December 2023.
Normal business operations will resume on Tuesday 2 January 2024.

Singleton Waste Management Facility

The Waste Management Facility will be closed from 3pm on Sunday 24 December 2023 and will reopen for normal operating hours at 8am on Wednesday 27 December 2023.
The Waste Management Facility will be open on Monday 1 January 2024 from 9am to 4.30pm.
Kerbside bin collection services will not occur on Christmas Day, Monday 25 December 2023, with services resuming on Tuesday 26 December 2023. This will result in all residents’ bins being collected one day after their normal collection day for this week.
Collection days for all residents will return to normal the week starting Monday 1 January 2024.

Singleton Heights Sports Centre

Singleton Heights Sports Centre will be closed from Saturday 23 December 2023 and will reopen on Wednesday 3 January 2024 from 4-8pm.

Singleton Gym + Swim

Singleton Gym + swim will be closed on Monday 25 December 2023.
The Swim + Gym will operate 10am-6pm Tuesday 26 December 2023, 5am-9pm Wednesday 27 December 2023 and Thursday 28 December 2023, 5am-8pm Friday 29 December 2023, 6am-6pm Saturday 30 December 2023, and 10am-6pm Sunday 31 December 2023 and Monday 1 January 2024.
