At its meeting on 18 February 2025, Council resolved to place the draft Public Art Policy on public exhibition for 28 days and notify of its intention to adopt the draft document subject to consideration of submissions received.
The draft Public Art Policy aligns with the vision of Council’s Community Strategic Plan 2022-2032 that supports the development and maintenance of public artworks that reflect the diversity, spirit, and liveability of the Singleton Local Government Area (LGA).
The draft Public Art Policy aims to:
• Deliver public artworks that benefit current and future generations
• Reflect the unique identity of the Singleton LGA through public art
• Provide affordable and sustainable artworks for both present and future generations.
The draft Public Art Policy will be on exhibition from Monday 24 February 2025 to Monday 24 March 2025 and will be available in hard copy at:
- Council’s Administration Building
- Singleton Public Library
- Singleton Arts and Cultural Centre
- Singleton Youth Venue
