At Council’s Ordinary Meeting held on 21 May 2024, Council resolved to place the Draft Gender Equitable Access and Usage Policy on public exhibition for a period of 28 days and public notice be provided of the intention to adopt the draft documents subject to consideration of submissions received.
The Draft Gender Committees Policy aims to progressively build capacity and capability at Singleton Council in identification and elimination of systemic causes of gender inequality in community sport infrastructure design, policy, program development and delivery, communication and delivery of sport and related services in all community sport infrastructure.
The document is available for viewing at Council's Customer Service Centre, Visitor Information Centre and Singleton Public Library or may be downloaded below:
