At Council’s Ordinary Meeting held on 17 October 2023, Council resolved to place the Draft Cemeteries Management Policy on public exhibition for a period of 28 days and public notice be provided of the intention to adopt the draft strategy subject to consideration of submissions received.
The Draft Cemeteries Management Policy sets out consistent, respectful standards and safe practices in the management of cemeteries operated and maintained by Council.
The draft policy is available for viewing below and at Council’s Customer Service Centre, Visitor Information Centre and Public Library until Monday 20 November 2023.
Submissions should be made in writing and addressed to the General Manager, Singleton Council PO Box 314 Singleton NSW 2330 or sent via email to E council@singleton.nsw.gov.au prior to 4.30pm 30 October 2023.
