How Do I
Adopt a Spot
Adopt a Spot Program is a roadside litter awareness campaign which involves community groups and organisations conducting roadside clean ups at specific locations. The program is both an educational and practical environmental initiative which increases community awareness of the damaging effect roadside litter has on the local environment.

Roadside adoption involves communities taking a special interest in maintaining the appearance of roadsides in their community through the regular removal of roadside litter. Community groups are encouraged to "adopt" sections of roadside and pledge to keep the roadside clean for a nominated period of time.

In Singleton the current locations of the Adopt a Spot roadside litter campaign are at Broke Road and Wallaby Scrub Road. To be involved with this program contact Council's Customer Service Centre on 02 6578 7290.
