How Do I
Street lighting

Street lighting is a vital community asset that helps to keep us safe and secure. Ausgrid supply and service all of the streetlights in Singleton on behalf of Council.

As well as introducing energy efficient streetlights, other service improvements currently being undertaken include

  • the systematic replacement of lamps in every streetlight every 30 months as a pre-emptive measure
  • the replacement of intelligent sensors that turn the lights on and off
  • night time patrols up to four times a year on some major traffic roads, or
  • the gradual transfer of power supply for streetlights to the more reliable low voltage network

You can report a faulty street light here (https://www.ausgrid.com.au/streetlight#/ or by calling 1800 044 808.

The new LED lights in John Street and Ryan Avenue are maintained by Council directly and not covered by the Ausgrid Street Lighting arrangement.
