Dunolly Road Upgrade
In 2012, Singleton Council received funding under the NSW Government's Resources for Regions program and $2m interest free loan to upgrade the intersection of Bridgman Road and the New England Highway. This project was divided into four stages:
  • Upgrade of the storage lane in Bridgman Road, north of New England Highway. This project is complete.
  • Upgrade of the intersection of New England Highway at Bridgman Road. This project is complete.
  • Upgrade of street lights along Bridgman Road between New England Highway and Blaxland Avenue. This project is complete.
  • Upgrade of Dunolly Road-Bridgman Rd South. 

Council awarded the tender for construction of the project on 13 October 2014 to KCE and site works commenced in November 2014.

Singleton Mayor John Martin officially opened the project on 27 May 2015.


Official opening of Bridgman Rd
Singleton Council General Manager Lindy Hyam, Singleton Mayor John Martin and Deputy Mayor Godfrey Adamthwaite officially opened the upgrade to Dunolly Rd-Bridgman Rd South.
