Council meetings
Council meets on the third Monday of every month at 5.30pm in the Council Chambers at Queen St, Singleton. Agendas and minutes of Council meetings are available on this website.

Where a public holiday falls on the meeting date, Council will advertise an alternative meeting date via this website and in the local paper, The Singleton Argus.

Public gallery
Anyone can attend a Council meeting and watch the proceedings from the Public Gallery. Members of the public cannot participate in a Council meeting, and must remain silent at all times.

Members of the public must remain within the area designated as the Public Gallery and are not permitted to occupy space within the Council Chamber allocated for Councillors, representatives of the media or staff members.

A person in the public gallery may not approach a Councillor at any time during a meeting. A Councillor who approaches a person in the public gallery during a meeting will be recorded as being absent from the meeting.

Any act of disorder may result in expulsion from the meeting in accordance with the Code of Meeting Practice.

Public access
Those wishing to address the Council either through a presentation or in the Public Access Session, must make a request through the Executive Secretary or the Governance Team.
