Road Safety
Council is responsible for the safety and maintenance of local and regional roads throughout the Singleton Local Government Area.

Road safety concerns and incidents related to local and regional roads can be reported to Council directly on 02 6578 7290 during normal business hours or you can lodge an online customer request.

For after-hours assistance, please contact the after-hours line on 02 6572 1400.

In the event of a life threatening situation please contact emergency services on 000.

For traffic incidents on state highways please contact Roads and Maritime Services on 131 700 or  RMS website for live traffic updates.

Our road network

The road network within the Singleton Local Government Area is 877.453 kilometres long. The network includes:

  • 64.18km of state roads;
  • 82.84km of regional roads;
  • 514.875km of local sealed rural roads;
  • 133.383km of local sealed urban roads; and
  • 82.175km of local unsealed roads.
