Singleton Showground
Singleton Showground is located in the heart of Singleton on the corner of Church and York streets and York and Bathurst streets.

The showground hosts the annual Singleton Show and Wife Carrying Event, Singleton Farmers Markets, exhibitions, and allows travellers to set up camp for a short stay. The historic venue is also available to community and commercial groups for private hire through the Northern Agricultural Association Committee.

Built in 1880, the showground pavilion is an example of high Victorian Gothic style, designed by J Pender, a highly noted Hunter Valley architect. Restoration of the pavilion has been carried out to protect the longevity and unique structure of the historic building as it is of state and local significance.

Part of its future use is to house and display historic agricultural machinery and equipment.

For further information please contact the Showground Office on Thursdays only on                  02 6572 2039.
