How Do I
Why are the fees for OSSM being changed?
The current fee structure is complicated and does not reflect the true cost to Council of managing onsite sewage management systems. The change is also in line with how other councils within the Hunter and NSW charge for OSSM.
It will also allow Council to introduce an annualised system of renewing Approvals to Operate that:
• reduces time and paperwork for both Council and OSSM owners.
• enables better administration of OSSM.
