Grab the entire family and bring them along to the action-packed Singleton Emergency Service Expo. You don’t want to miss this unique opportunity to see our local emergency services in action, meet your heroes, experience live simulations and demonstrations, and learn about how you can prepare for an emergency event.  

About the Expo

Singleton Council, in collaboration with state-wide and local Emergency Services and organisations, provide this educational, fun, and free annual community event for all ages. The Emergency Services Expo is designed to showcase the essential roles our emergency services play, and to help Singleton residents get prepared for an emergency. 

This event received grant funding from the Australian Government.

The 2023 Singleton Emergency Services Expo will be held on Saturday 26 August from 9am - 12pm on the grounds next to Singleton Council's Administration Building in Civic Avenue.

• Vertical rescue by NSW Ambulance Rescue Specialists
• Westpac Rescue Helicopter landing
• RFS pile burn demonstration
• SES rescue demonstration
• Bush fire and flood simulations of our local area using state of the art technology
• The Pillowcase Project with the Australian Red Cross
• Mental health first aid
• Community Get Ready Teams
• Emergency service mascot race
• Competition for the best dressed kids (come dressed as your favourite emergency service!)
• CPR demonstrations with mannequins
• Emergency vehicle display
• Lucky door prizes
• Get Ready Bingo for kids
• Food trucks + hot roast beef rolls + hot dogs + bacon and egg rolls + water and soft drinks

The Expo will also feature a sensory-friendly space.

Expo attendees with sensory sensitivities can also access the nearby Singleton Public Library, which will be open 9am-2pm on Saturday.
